At age 16, the speaker was saved from suicide and immediately felt called to share the gospel. Despite being unqualified and repeatedly rejected by a Bible school, he persisted in prayer and faith. Eventually, the school principal gave him a chance, and when he could no longer afford tuition, a widow in Florida—prompted by God—sent money to support him. This miraculous provision allowed him to stay and continue his training. The experience deeply marked his life and confirmed his calling to preach across Sri Lanka.
